Sask-Mont Presentation by Jay Anderson and Alan VanVoast - would like to see Chinook support the border crossing at the Port of Turner to stay open 24 hours.
Would like to see:
Chinook promote more Canadians and welcome them more
Gather signatures at the Chamber Businesses in support of their efforts
Write letters to promote their efforts
Chamber letter to support their efforts

Chamber agreed that we would benefit from the Port of Turner being a 24 hour port as opposed to Wildhorse.  We agreed to help as much as we could be spreading the word and brochures, etc.

Sugarbeet Festival Themes - Ashley Buck
The cattlewomen have discussed some great ideas for the festival that include:
Family History Displays in Businesses
Museum Display
Old Time Kids Games
Cattleman Theme

Chamber to handle:
Car Show
Street Dance

Storage Shed Update:
No update.

Old Business:
By-laws - A committee was formed to overview the By-Laws:  That committee is:  Mark Harshman, Heather DePriest, Larry Surber, Colleen Mulonet, Chuck Hewitt and Bonnie Weber.  Heather will set up a time to meet.

Chuck will contact Gayle Fischer about the brochure - before final approval.  Winning bid - Journal.

Installation Banquet - Jay - Price will be the same as last year - Prime rib and shrimp dinner - starts 6:00 p.m. no host cocktail hour - Trying to get Ray "Fingers" Gustafson for the music.

New Business:
Russell Country Victoria Day media packages - $25,690 to give away - feel that Chinook should be involved somehow.  Chuck will pursue more.  Has the approval of the Chamber to do so.

Spurs and Saddles Show - need to find some help with this - Larry would contact Scott MacKenzie, George Ortner to see if they have any ideas and thoughts.  Heather will contact Anita Magnuson about her ideas and to see if she may be willing to help .

Sugarbeet Festival Promotion for KRTV in Great Falls - $1000 to $1500 to promote on TV.  Chuck would like to see us find some sponsors for this - maybe the banks?  He will pursue this more.  Thought maybe Paula Reynolds would be willing to go do the promoting for us.

Motions and Votes:
It was agreed upon that Heather should go to the Journal and charge a ream of paper and cartridge to the Chamber for all the printing, etc. she has been doing.

There is $6,418.37 in the Wells Fargo Checking Account
There is $2,679.03 in the Water Tower Fund
There is $878.78 in the 50/50 Fund
