Storage Shed Update:
Larry got prices on a 12 x 24 with 5 ft walls - $2,000 - company from Shelby.  Includes roof and floor, will come and build for that.  Decided to put out a call for bids in the legal section of the paper to see if any local contractors are interested in puting our shed up for us.

Old Business:
Spurs and Saddles Show was a success - had quite a few participants and hopefully more next year.  Lynne suggested puting food at the facility next year - chamber will look into that.

Clean-up Day - Had a farily decent turnout by the Chamber members, decided we need to make more of a community event out of it next year and have a set date of 2 weeks before the rodeo - get the Eagles and Lions clubs involved too.

Chinook PTO sign project - Larry found out from the Denton community they paid $13,000 for their marquees, and Donna Rasmussen reported via phone that there were no changes in the projects status at this time.   Heather suggested setting up a project funding source through Hamburger Helper - she will talk with Donna about this.  Chamber agreed it would be a great idea, need to have as much input on the site from the community as possible.

New Business:
Montana Poets and Pickers - Reported that they will be again hosting their event in Chinook the 1st weekend in February, and asked the Chamber to help detour organizations from planning an event that weekend.  Chamber agreed to help as much as possible and promote the event.

Trees on Main Street - Need to have the grates cut away from them, so the grates do not kill the trees.  Larry agreed to help with that project.  Probably should have done by fall.  Lynne also suggested putting sand in the holes, to prevent the trash and leaves from filling up the grates.  Lynne agreed to look into the sand, and what type should be used so as not to hurt the trees.  Also noticed that some need to be trimmed, Larry agreed to call the City of Chinook to come and trim them before the festival.

Sugarbeet Festival:
Poster - Bonnie, Deb and Amanda Davies/Paulette Keller are working on putting the schedule of events together.  Will get with Heather sometime next week to finalize poster and send to printers.

BBQ - It was suggested to raise the prices of the BBQ this year to increase profit margins.  Need to discuss final prices at next meeting - Suggested $20 for family of 4; $4 for Kids; and $8 for Adults.

Nomintated Committees:
Nancy & Larry  - BBQ
Alan & Mike - Car Show
Lynne and Colleen - Vendors
Rita and Vanessa - Parade
Thom MacLean - Fun Run
Cattlewomen - Queen/King Contest - need to ask about this.
Donna Pike - Bed Races
Rita Langford - Sugarbeet Growing Contest

Honorary Community Service Award - Keo Fournier was nominated by Rita - as he walks to the dump in the am, he takes a box and picks up garbage.  Felt he needed to be recognized, Nancy suggested a plaque from Melissa Sandvick, Minne 2 Jer.  Lynn moved we do the award, Colleen 2nd.  Heather will contact Melissa.

Ray Reid - Decided to give $50 for all his help around town with the Chamber.  Heather will handle a Thank You and mail.

Main Street Posts - Christmas Lights and Signs - Nancy would like to finalize this project; put something in paper about sponsoring a light, could put thier name on a plaque and nail to post in honor of their loved one, etc.  Nancy to work on this.

Welcome Canadians Signs - Heather agreed to make them and have them printed.
